She's pretty amazing! Pink, exfoliating, great lather, skin nourishing, and more.
This handmade soap is a dusty rose color, has fine grained Himalayan salt throughout the bar, contains grapefruit essential oil, and is topped with coarse Himalayan pink salt. There is only 10% salt to oil weight ratio, and is superfatted at 12%. This means it contains extra unsaponified oils, which creates a more moisturizing bar. You could think of it as "free" oil that wasn't changed into soap. For reference, I superfat at about 5% for all of the other bars.
The depth of the rose color is dependent on how much clay is used. No two batches are the same, with different color variations every time.
All of our soaps naturally contain glycerin, a humectant, which helps w/moisture retention. This glycerin is a natural byproduct of homemade soap. Most commercial soap companies extract the glycerin from their soaps and sell them to the cosmetics industry or explosives industry. However, with small batch homemade soaps, there is no way to do this without expensive equipment. And even if one could afford such equipment, why take away a beneficial (free) ingredient?

For soap longevity, use a draining soap dish or a soap saver. This will help prevent soap from sitting in water, will provide air circulation, and will drain any extra water. This way your bar will dry between uses and last longer. Also, keep soap from direct water stream in shower or tub.
