Hey there! I’m Kiana Jones

An Artist and the Founder of Happening Hands

Creativity and painting has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Ten years ago I launched my first handmade shop in an online marketplace, and like many makers after that first sale, I was hooked. I quickly fell in love with the handmade community, and it became a safe space for me. I felt like I could be myself with fellow makers who understood my business struggles.

As a natural advocate, I really started listening to my fellow makers, and trying my utmost to help them run more successful businesses. I learned as much as I could about marketing, and eventually my dream of a better marketplace and community space took hold!

With my experience and knowledge in both Pinterest marketing and marketplaces, my goal is to help creatives set and achieve their goals through our low-cost marketplace, marketing resources, and a supportive community that’s truly here to show up for the makers. I can’t wait for you to join us!

Meet Jessica Griffin

Community Curator

Growing up I watched my grandma, with a steady hand, paint eyelashes on dolls she made from clay. Carefully painting each line with precision and an expertise I never knew she had. I watched her bead, crochet, and cook with ease. Because of her, I’ve always been drawn to items that are handmade. I’ve always wondered what goes into making that specific item, or if they learned that craft from a family member. As I’ve attended scrapbook conventions, craft shows, and classes I became fascinated with people’s stories.

Through the years, I’ve been invited into many makers' studios to help them tell their story. As a professional product photographer it has been an absolute pleasure to earn the trust and confidence of my fellow makers. I look forward to being a valuable resource to Happening Hands makers by encouraging them to share their story through photo and video, and grow in community with each other.
